Oben Rorr is another interesting electric motorcycle developed in India
In recent years we have seen many electric motorcycles and scooters being fully developed in India, a country that is becoming a hotbed of startups in the electric two-wheel segment.
Some models that have already been launched are Ather Energy 450X, Hop OXO, Tork KRATOS and Simple ONE, in addition to the Ultraviolette F77, a high-performance electric motorcycle.
Now, another startup is working to launch, in the first half of 2023, its first ‘naked’ electric motorcycle. Oben Electric is already offering a test ride of the Rorr, its electric bike with a modern design that offers, as a differential, a 3-year warranty on both the battery and the motor, in addition to 3 years of free road assistance services.
According to the company, the Rorr can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3 seconds, reaches a top speed of 100 km/h and has a range of up to 200 km.
To achieve these figures, it is equipped with a 10 kW mid-engine and belt final drive, and a 4.4 kWh battery that is fully charged in just 2 hours.
Finally, the model has Full-LED lighting, a 100% digital LCD panel, 3 riding modes, disc brakes on both wheels, and an smart app that lets you connect with the bike.
Oben Rorr is offered in India for INR 102,999 (approximately US$ 1,249), already considering subsidies and tax incentives.
