Honda HAWK 11 is presented in Japan: Café racer with Africa Twin engine
Honda presented in Japan the HAWK 11, a modern cafe racer with an 1100cc engine from the Africa Twin. The new model has not yet had the specifications released but, from the images, we can see that the chassis is also the same as the adventurer and the rear swingarm is from the NT1100.
The HAWK 11 has a round LED headlight and a small front fairing with a retro design, typical of cafe racer models, with rear-view mirrors positioned below the grips.
Despite being powered by the Africa Twin’s 1100cc twin engine, performance data has yet to be released. We remind you that the brand has another road bike with Africa Twin’s engine, the Rebel 1100. In it, the two-cylinder engine yields 88 HP, much less than the adventurer and NT1100, which reaches 102 HP. We believe that HAWK 11 will have something close to this last number.
According to the brand, the HAWK 11 is a road sportbike, and it was developed with the concept of a big bike that provides new values and a rewarding motorcycle life to customers, especially experienced riders.
Finally, other details were verified in the images: the wheels are 17″, there are double brake discs at the front with Nissin calipers, and the LCD panel is round.
Anyway, we will have to wait for more information. The company may showcase the new model at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show taking place at the end of March.
