2022 Honda ADV350 Launched in Europe: 330cc Adventurous Scooter Based on X-ADV

Honda launched in Europe the 2022 ADV350, its 330cc adventurous scooter, which takes the space between the ADV150 and X-ADV, its other two scooter models with adventurous capabilities.

The ADV350’s design is based on the larger 750cc “sister”, the X-ADV, with sharp angles and aggressive lines. It features dual horizontal headlamps with LED lines for daytime running lights (DRL) and a very upright riding position.

The focus of this new scooter is its use in the city, facing the bumpy asphalt, humps and ditches. But, it is possible to face dirt roads and overcome some obstacles.

This is evidenced by the dual purpose tires, measuring 120/70-15 at the front and 140/70-14 at the rear. But it’s good not to face more difficult terrain, as the ground clearance is only 145mm (smaller than the ADV150, which has 165mm).

In addition, the suspensions also do the job, being the 37 mm USD motorcycle type in the front and two shock absorbers with an external gas reservoir in the rear (from Showa).

Most commonly used items on motorcycles present on this scooter are the tapered handlebars and the rear fender. The windshield is large and can be adjusted in two levels.

Engine and technology

The 2022 Honda ADV350 has a 330 cm³ engine, the same used in the Forza 350, with four valves SOHC enhanced Smart Power + (eSP +), which achieves high environmental performance and good power delivery.

The EU5 engine is a liquid-cooled, 330 cm³ single cylinder, capable of generating up to 21.5 kW (28.8 HP) of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 31.5 Nm (3.18 kgfm) of torque at 5,250 rpm. According to Honda, consumption is 30 km/L (WMTC mode) and top speed is 137 km/h.

It is equipped with two-level Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), which can be turned ON-OFF via a switch on the left handle. A ‘T’ indicator on the screen flashes when the system is working to manage grip.
