Honda launched the 2021 model of X-ADV in Europe, its adventurous 750cc scooter. It arrives with revised design, more powerful engine, lighter and more fun to ride.
The 2021 Honda X-ADV had a slightly revised design, with sharper lines and more defined edges. In addition, it has gained new LED headlights with DRL (Daytime Running Light).
The panel is also new, fully digital in 5-inch colored TFT, which allows the management of the riding modes through the selection switch on the left handle, also with connection with Smartphone.
The space under the seat increases the volume by 1L, for a total of 22L, accommodating a ‘full-face’ helmet, and is illuminated with an “integral LED” (whatever that means). A USB charging socket replaces the 12V socket.
In addition, it gained electronic throttle (Throttle By Wire), with 4 riding modes plus a user-customized mode.
New mechanics with more powerful engine
The 2021 Honda X-ADV got new mechanics, with a new engine and chassis.
The revised engine is 1.4kg lighter and, thanks to a finely balanced delay for valve synchronization, in addition to the addition of the electronic accelerator and improvements in exhaust, the engine delivers more power at higher revs, reaching 7,000 rpm from the start of the red mark.
Peak power is increased by 3kW to 43.1kW (57.8hp) at 6,750 rpm, with a maximum torque of 7.0 kgfm / 69Nm at 4,750 rpm. Along with the increase in performance are the shorter gear ratios (1st, 2nd and 3rd), and elongated (4th, 5th and 6th).
The chassis was overhauled and is 1kg lighter than the previous generation, contributing to the reduction in total weight. In addition, it allowed an increase in the compartment under the seat.
Finally, the new 2021 Honda X-ADV hits stores in Europe in the colors Grand Prix Red (Red), Graphite Black (Graphite Black), Matt Beta Silver Metallic (Matte Metallic Silver) and Pearl Mud Gray (Pearl Gray).
