Honda launched in Thailand the small sports bike 2022 CBR 150R, a model that arrives with 17.1 HP of maximum power, assist and slipper clutch, USD front suspension, Full-LED lighting and new colors.

Considered a ‘baby blade’, the 2022 Honda CBR 150R has a similar look to the CBR 250RR. It is very aggressive, with well defined angles, and features dual headlamps with two LED lines right above, for daytime lighting (DRL) and front turn signals.

Speaking of lighting, the set is Full-LED, that is, headlights, flashlights and turn signals come out with this technology. As mentioned above, the front turn signals are integrated into the LED Daytime Lighting (DRL) lines.

With the new colors, the 2022 CBR 150R is very similar to the supersport CBR 1000RR-R Fireblade. It arrives with Tricolor color scheme used by Honda Racing, in red with blue and white accents. Additionally, Matte Grey, Red and Matte Black are available.

Engine, gear and chassis

The 2022 CBR 150R comes equipped with an assist and slipper clutch and a 6-speed gearbox. The set allows for a more sporty run, preventing the rear wheel from locking in sudden gear reductions.

You can’t help but notice the beautiful 37 mm Showa USD front forks, in golden color, which, in addition to being beautiful, allows for better handling. At the rear, it has a Monoshock suspension (Pro-Link).

The 17″ wheels are made of light aluminum alloy, equipped with tires measuring 100/80-17 at the front and 130/70-17 at the rear. In addition, in terms of braking, it has a brake disc on both axles, equipped with ABS or CBS.

The engine of the CBR 150R is a 149.16 cm³ single cylinder with 4 valves, electronic injection, liquid cooling and Auto Fan, capable of generating up to 17.1 HP of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 14.5 Nm (1.47 kgfm) of torque at 7,000 rpm.

Anyway, Honda sells the CBR 150R in some Asian countries, such as Indonesia and Thailand, but there is no forecast for other countries.
