Moreover, Bajaj owns a significant 48% stake in KTM, and leverages its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities to produce the popular Duke models, as well as a range of Husqvarna motorcycles – both of which are part of the KTM group. The launch of the 2023 Chetak Premium electric scooter is a significant milestone for Bajaj, as it solidifies the company’s position in the electric vehicle market. The model also boasts a robust engine/transmission assembly that eliminates the need for belts or chains.
