2021 Yamaha MT-07 matures and gains new look in Europe
Yamaha launched the new 2021 MT-07 in Europe, which comes with a new look, LED lighting, improvements to the brakes and new tires.
2021 Yamaha MT-07 gained a new design, mainly at the front, with a new optical set, adopting the unique LED cannon for high and low headlight.
In addition, the model has two vertical lines also in LED on the sides of the headlight for daytime running lighting (DRL). This feature was also used in the new 2021 MT-09.
Now, all lighting is LED, that is, headlamps, flashlights and turn signals rely on this technology.
Still regarding the design, it received a new fuel tank with new lines and new air intakes. The instrument panel is new, completely digital “inverted” LCD.
New tires and larger brake discs
2021 MT-07 arrives with larger brake discs at the front, measuring 298 mm in diameter. Each has four pistons, offering more progressive braking characteristics.
The new state-of-the-art tires are also part of the package: Now, they are Michellin Road 5, which offer sporty and safe handling, especially on bad and slippery tracks, in addition to allowing less wear and tear.
Mechanics remains the same
The 2021 Yamaha MT-07 remains with the same mechanical assembly. The engine has two cylinders and 689 cm³ with liquid cooling, capable of generating up to 73.4 HP of maximum power and 6.8 kgfm / 67Nm of torque.
The gearbox is 6-speed and the fuel tank capacity is 14 liters.
The available colors are: Storm Fluo (Gray with red wheels), Icon Blue (Blue with blue wheels) and Tech Black (totally black).
