Yamaha launches FZ 25 MotoGP Edition in India

Yamaha launched in India the FZ 25 MotoGP Edition, a special edition with the team colors in the top category of world motorcycling.

The Yamaha FZ 25 MotoGP Edition is based on the black model, with unique graphics on the side and tank fairings, with the ‘Monster Energy’ logo and branding highlighted.

In terms of mechanics there is no change, it continues with the same set of the normal version of the model that is one of the company’s best sellers.

Speaking on the launch of the new Yamaha FZ 25 MotoGP Edition, Motofumi Shitara, Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group of companies, said:

How is the Yamaha FZ 25

The Yamaha FZ 25 features a new front headlight, with a unique LED cannon for the high and low beam, along with a line of LED just above it for the daylight (DRL). This optical assembly resembles that of the new MT-03 and MT-15.

The turn signals were kept, that is, they are not LED. In addition, it also gained a new LCD panel similar to the current one, but now of the negative (or inverted) type, that is, with a dark background, which makes viewing easier.

It comes with the good air-cooled 249 cm³ single-cylinder engine, capable of generating up to 21 HP (15.3 kW) of maximum power and 20.1 Nm (2.0 kgfm) of torque.

The wheels are 17″ with a 282 mm brake disc at the front and 220 mm at the rear, now with two-channel ABS. They are fitted with Pirelli Sport Demon tires measuring 100/80-17 at the front and 140/70-17 at the rear.
