VOGE 650DSX is a medium displacement Chinese adventurer motorcycle
VOGE launched in China, the 650DSX, its adventurous medium displacement motorcycle. It arrives as a good option in the segment, and faces, mainly, the Suzuki V-Strom 650.
The model is based on the 650DS, but has different items, such as protection bars, spoked wheels and aluminum top + side cases (in some markets, they can be sold as options).
For those who don’t know, VOGE is a high quality subsidiary of Loncin Motorcycles, which has in its line, 300cc, 500cc (like the VOGE 500R) and 650cc models.
It focuses on bikes with advanced design, high-end configuration and ‘reasonable price’. It already sells its models in several countries, including Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Norway, Ecuador and Argentina.
Design
The VOGE 650DSX features a typical adventuress design, with a robust front, high suspension and relaxed riding position.
Comes with height-adjustable windshield, engine/fairing protection bars, spoked wheels (aluminum rims, steel spokes), dual purpose tubeless tires and aluminum top + side cases (again , in some markets this set may be sold as an option).
Engine and Gearbox
The engine of the VOGE 650DSX has already been used in the BMW F 650 GS (Loncin has already cooperated deeply with BMW, in addition to other internationally known companies).
It is a liquid-cooled 652 cm³ single cylinder, capable of generating up to 49 HP (35 kW) of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 60 Nm / 6.1 kgfm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
The transmission is 5 speeds and the final transmission is by chain.
Chassis
The VOGE 650DSX features a steel trellis chassis, KYB inverted front suspension, monoshock rear suspension with “airbag” (whatever that means), stainless steel muffler (tailpipe) and step seat.
In terms of braking, it is equipped with a 298 mm double brake disc at the front with Nissin calipers, and a single 240 mm at the rear, with ABS.
In addition, tubeless tires have the following measurements: 110/80-19 at the front and 150/70-17 at the rear. The dry weight is 192 kg and the fuel tank capacity is 18 liters.
Technology
The VOGE 650DSX has Full-LED lighting, a fully digital TFT panel with Bluetooth (in some markets, it can be LCD), tire pressure indicator and USB connector.
Anyway, the 650DSX can be sold for approximately €8000.
