TVS Motor launched in India the Apache RTR 165RP, its high-performance 165cc motorcycle, which arrives with up to 19.2 HP of maximum power and exclusive look in limited edition (only 200 units will be produced).

Based on the TVS Racing Group C GP 165R racing model, the Apache RTR 165RP uses the same 165cc single-cylinder engine with electronic fuel injection optimized for the track. The GP 165R bike has won the INMRC, the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship, 9 times with K. Jagan.

According to the brand, this engine is the best in its class, as it can deliver up to 14.12 kW (19.2 HP) of maximum power at 10,000 rpm. To achieve this, it has a cylinder head made for racing, with 35% higher intake flow, in addition to a spark plug with double electrode and 15% larger valves.

Plus, it features dual spring valve actuation, high-lift, long-lasting valve timing, and race-inspired dome-shaped piston that delivers a higher compression ratio.
