2022 Yamaha FZS-Fi is launched in India with updated style
Yamaha launched in India the 2022 model of the FZS-Fi, its 150cc motorcycle, which arrives with an updated style and a new deluxe version, the FZS-Fi Dlx.
The biggest update on the model was the adoption of the LED taillight in both versions. The Deluxe version also comes with LED flashers.
The FZS-Fi Dlx also features 3 new colors (Metallic Black, Metallic Deep Red and Solid Gray), with exclusive graphics, colored alloy wheels, and a two-level seat with dual tone colors.
In addition, both versions are equipped the Yamaha Connect-X App which, through a connection via Bluetooth, allows Answer Back, Locate my Vehicle, Parking Record & Hazard, and Riding History.
Finally, all current features remain available, such as disc brakes on both axles with single-channel ABS, multi-function negative LCD panel, LED headlight, swingarm-mounted rear mudguard and lower engine guard.

Engine, Chassis and Technology
The 2022 FZS-Fi continues with the same air-cooled 4-stroke 149 cm³ SOHC, 2-valve, single-cylinder fuel-injected “BLUE CORE” engine, capable of generating up to 9.1 kW (12.4 HP) of peak power at 7,250 rpm and 13.3 Nm of peak torque at 5500 rpm.
Moreover, the rear suspension is a lightweight monocross unit that contributes to mass centralization and provides 120 mm of wheel travel, there is a built-in side stand engine cut-off and the rear tire is 140 mm wide.
Finally, at just 135 kg, the FZS-Fi and its sibling FZS-Fi Dlx is easy to control and contributes to fuel economy.
The models will be available at all the authorized Yamaha Dealerships from second week of January 2022.
