Honda presents all the details of the HAWK 11, its modern café racer

Honda presented in Japan all the details of the HAWK 11, its modern café racer with 1100cc engine from Africa Twin. The new model will be officially launched on September 29, but the company has already published all the technical specifications.

The HAWK 11 has a round LED headlight and a small front fairing with a retro design, typical of café racer models, with rear-view mirrors positioned below the grips.

According to the brand, the HAWK 11 is a road sportbike, and it was developed with the concept of a big bike that provides new values and a rewarding motorcycle life to customers, especially experienced riders.

In terms of chassis, it is equipped with an aluminum rear frame and steel semi-double cradle main frame with adequate rigidity for a light and agile body package. In addition, the wheels are 17 inches, there are dual disc brakes at the front with Nissin calipers, and the suspension features a Showa SFF-BP inverted fork at the front and an aluminum swingarm at the rear with a pro-link and a shock absorber with preload adjustment.

The HAWK 11 engine is the same as the CRF1100L Africa Twin, that is, a 1,082 cm³ liquid-cooled twin, capable of generating up to 102 hp (75 kW) of maximum power at 7,500 rpm, and 10.6 kgfm (104 Nm ) of torque at 6,250 rpm.

The transmission is a 6-speed with an assist and slipper clutch, and the fuel tank capacity is 14 liters.

In addition, it has ‘Throttle-by-wire’ electronic throttle, four riding modes (Sport, Standard, Rain and User), power control, engine brake control, HSTC wheelie and traction control, and ABS brake.

Finally, the model is equipped with Full-LED lighting, and an inverted LCD digital panel in a round format.

The Honda HAWK 11 is offered in Japan for 1,397,000 yen (about US $ 10,362) and is available in two colors: Pearl Hawks Eye Blue and Graphite Black.
