Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has roared into the record books with its best first half-year sales figures ever.

Following a promising first quarter, the iconic brand has successfully closed the first six months of 2023 with a surge in delivery figures, cementing its position as a frontrunner in the fiercely competitive motorcycle market.

Ducati’s Vice President of Global Sales and After Sales, Francesco Milicia, expressed his elation over the remarkable performance, stating, “This first half-year was Ducati’s best ever in terms of deliveries. We reached a record 34,976 bikes delivered, proving that our passionate clients continue to appreciate our product range, which is now wider than ever.”

The impressive number represents a remarkable 5 percent growth when compared to the same period in 2022, showcasing the brand’s unwavering appeal and dedication to customer satisfaction.

The past year had been a rollercoaster ride for many industries, including the motorcycle sector, with supply bottlenecks presenting significant challenges.

However, Ducati has effectively overcome these hurdles, ensuring a steady supply of their acclaimed motorcycles to meet the rising demand. The positive outlook is further accentuated by the post-COVID era, which has witnessed increased competition in the market due to better product availability.

Despite the intensified rivalry, Ducati has managed to carve out a strong position, thanks to its loyal fan base and commitment to continuous improvement.
