Ducati launches the new Scrambler Urban Motard: the rebel urban bike
Ducati launched in Italy the Scrambler Urban Motard, the new motorcycle that is part of the Scrambler family and focused on the urban environment. According to the company, it is a fun, energetic and explicit bike which rides through the urban jungle standing out from the crowd.
The Scrambler Ducati Urban Motard comes with exclusive Graffiti style, high front mudguard, 17″ spoked aluminum wheels, Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires, flat seat and side number plates.
The bike exudes pure fun and sporty attitude, with the new Star White Silk and Ducati GP ’19 Red colors, with graphics inspired by street art. The wheel rims are black, but the spokes are chrome, conveying sophistication.
Scrambler Urban Motard comes with chunky Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires, measuring 120/70-17 at the front and 180/55-17 at the rear, which allows the model to be sporty and dynamic, with a high level of fun.
Engine and technology
Rebel in appearance, the new bike comes with the well-known and not so bad 803 cc, L-Twin, Desmodromic, air cooled engine, capable of generating up to 73 HP (53,6 kW) of maximum power at 8.250 rpm and 48,8 lb-ft (66,2 Nm / 6,65 kgfm) of torque at 5.750 rpm.
Furthermore, it is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, USD Kayaba 41 mm front fork, 330 mm disc brake at the front with radial 4-piston calliper and Bosch Cornering ABS, and 13,5 liters steel tank with interchangeable aluminum side panels.
Finally, the Scrambler Urban Motard comes with Full-LED lighting with DRL, LCD instruments with gear and fuel level indications and interchangeable aluminum cover, under-seat storage compartment with USB socket, machine-finished aluminum belt covers and black engine with brushed fins.
So, the price for Italy is €11,590.00 which is €200 more than the Scrambler Nightshift and €2,100.00 more than the Scrambler Icon.
