Yamaha launched in Europe the 2022 MT-09, its 890cc ‘naked’ motorcycle, which arrives with new colors and graphics, but maintains the design and mechanics of the previous model, which was updated in 2021.

For 2022, the MT-09 will be available in the new Cyan Storm color, with wheels finished in Cyan, while the Gray and Black bodywork features details in Cyan and Red (Vermillion), on the fuel tank fairings.

With its impressive performance crossplane engine, the MT-09 maintains the design and mechanics that were updated in 2021, with larger engine, new front and color TFT digital panel.

How is 2022 MT-09

The 2022 Yamaha MT-09 got a major upgrade in 2021, when it arrived with a bigger engine, to meet the new Euro 5 pollutant emissions standard.

In addition, it gained a new front optical set, adopting the LED cannon (projector) for the high and low headlights, in addition to two vertical LED lines on the sides of the headlight for the daytime running lights (DRL).

As mentioned, all lighting is LED, that is, headlights, flashlights and turn signals rely on this technology. Still regarding the design, it received a new tank with new lines and new air intakes, as well as plate support on the rear tail. The instrument panel is fully digital in 3.5-inch color TFT.
