Share:

Yamaha introduced in Europe the 2023 TMAX Tech MAX, its 560cc Sport Scooter, which arrives with new colors but maintains the design and mechanics of the previous model, remaining one of the best high-capacity scooters on the market.

The 2023 TMAX Tech MAX has a compact body, with aggressive lines and well defined angles. The front was completely updated in 2021, with new air intakes and new headlights, which have LED lighting and integrated turn signals.

In addition to its new ‘face’, the TMAX features an all-new adjustable windshield that contributes to its new compact look and improves ride quality, with good protection from wind and rain.

So, the 2023 TMAX Tech MAX will be offered in two color options: Dark Petrol and Tech Black.

Chassis

The 2023 TMAX Tech MAX has extremely lightweight ‘Spin Forged’ 10-spoke wheels that reduce unsprung weight for more responsive suspension action, and Bridgestone Battlax SC2 tires that were developed along with Yamaha’s exclusive Spin Forged wheels and revised suspension configuration.

Speaking of suspension, the front has a 41 mm USD fork and a single link-type shock absorber at the rear. These are motorcycle-style suspensions that offer class-leading handling characteristics and excellent stability at all speeds.

Finally, it has a double disc brake at the front, with radially mounted, opposite 4-piston front brake calipers.

Engine and technology

The 2023 TMAX Tech MAX features a liquid-cooled, 562 cm³, parallel-twin cylinder engine capable of generating up to 35 kW (47 HP) of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 55.7 Nm (5.6 kgfm) of torque at 5,250 rpm.

Europe’s number one Sport Scooter gets the full package of ‘ride-by-wire’ technology in the form of a new Accelerator Position Sensor Grip (APSG), which is linked to the Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T).

In addition, it has Traction Control, Riding Modes, Full-LED lighting, 7-inch color TFT fully digital panel, Smartphone connection, Full-map Garmin Navigation, keyless ignition (Smart Key) and aviation-type fuel cap with electric operation.
