2023 Honda SH150i gets new colors in Europe: 157cc premium city scooter

Honda has launched in Europe the 2023 SH150i, its 157cc premium city scooter, which arrives with new colors and graphics, but keeping the mechanical set and design of the previous model, to remain one of the best option in the segment.

One of the highlights of the SH150i is its four-valve eSP+ engine with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and Idling Stop. Thus, this scooter is capable of reaching up to 44.7 km/L.

In addition, the model has a flat floor and a 28L of under seat storage, capable of holding a full-face helmet and more objects, making small day-to-day purchases much easier.

In terms of colors, the 2023 SH150i is available in Pearl Falcon Gray, Mat Pearl Cool White, Mat Pearl Pacific Blue, Pearl Nightstar Black, Coal Black and Hyper Red.

How is the 2023 SH150i

In 2013, the SH150i gained Honda’s eSP (Enhanced Smart Power) low-friction engine and Idling Stop, improving both power delivery and fuel economy. And for 2017, the look was updated with more sculpted design lines and added LED front and rear lights and Honda Smart Key.

In 2020, it received its last major update, with a new engine, the inclusion of traction control and adjustments to the rear suspension, to make it even more comfortable.

Engine and technology

The 2023 Honda SH150i remains with the same engine as the previous model, that is, a EURO5 liquid-cooled 157 cm³ single-cylinder 4-valve eSP+, capable of generating up to 12.4 kW (16.86 hp) of maximum power at 8,500 rpm, and 14.9 Nm (1.5 kgfm) of torque at 6,500 rpm.

The transmission is automatic CVT, the fuel tank capacity is 7 liters and the kerb weight is 134.1 kg.

In addition, it features Full-LED lighting, LCD digital panel, Honda Smart Key, USB charger, two channel ABS, and lightweight 16-inch aluminum die-cast wheels with wide tires, measuring 100/80-16 at the front and 120/80-16 at the rear.

Anyway, the 2023 SH150i received new colors to remain one of the best options in the premium 150cc scooter segment.
