2023 Honda SH125i gets new colors in Europe: 125cc premium city scooter

Honda has launched in Europe the 2023 SH125i, its 125cc premium city scooter, which arrives with new colors and graphics, but keeping the mechanical set and design of the previous model, to remain a great option in the segment.

One of the highlights of the SH125i is its four-valve eSP+ engine with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and Idling Stop. Thus, this scooter is capable of reaching up to 45.7 km/L.

In addition, the model has a flat floor and a 28L of under seat storage, capable of holding a full-face helmet.

In terms of colors, the 2023 SH125i is available in Pearl Falcon Gray, Mat Pearl Cool White, Mat Pearl Pacific Blue, Pearl Nightstar Black, Coal Black and Hyper Red.

How is the 2023 SH125i

In 2013, the SH125i gained Honda’s eSP (Enhanced Smart Power) low-friction engine and Idling Stop, improving both power delivery and fuel economy. And for 2017, the look was updated with more sculpted design lines and added LED front and rear lights and Honda Smart Key.

In 2020, it received its last major update, with a new engine, the inclusion of traction control and adjustments to the rear suspension, to make it even more comfortable.

Engine and technology

The 2023 Honda SH125i remains with the same engine as the previous model, that is, a EURO5 liquid-cooled 125 cm³ single-cylinder 4-valve eSP+, capable of generating up to 9.6 kW (13 hp) of maximum power at 8,250 rpm, and 12 Nm (1.2 kgfm) of torque at 6,500 rpm.

The transmission is automatic CVT, the fuel tank capacity is 7 liters and the kerb weight is 133.9 kg.

In addition, it features Full-LED lighting, LCD digital panel, Honda Smart Key, USB charger, two channel ABS, and lightweight 16-inch aluminum die-cast wheels with wide tires, measuring 100/80-16 at the front and 120/80-16 at the rear.

Anyway, the 2023 SH125i received new colors to remain one of the best options in the premium 125cc scooter segment.
