Honda has launched in Europe the 2023 PCX125, its popular 125cc scooter, which arrives with two new color options, but maintains the design and mechanics of the previous model.

Now, for 2023, the model is available in new Pearl Jupiter Gray and Matt Suit Blue Metallic colors, in addition to Pearl Jasmine White and Matt Galaxy Black Metallic.

Otherwise, the 2023 PCX125 remains the same scooter, without any design or mechanical changes, and remains a great choice in its category.

For that, it offers sit-in riding position, weather protection, under seat storage for a full-face helmet and lots of fuel economy, with its eSP+ engine.

Finally, the model has technologies usually seen in bigger models and is therefore a good choice for the price.

How is the 2023 PCX125

The 2023 Honda PCX125 has a sharper design with more defined angles. The Full-LED front optical assembly has rectilinear shapes, practically forming a single piece.

In addition, the lines also hide good storage capacity under the seat, with a total volume of 30 liters, perfect for a ‘full-face’ helmet and more.

In terms of chassis, the model has robust aluminum alloy wheels, 14″ at the front and 13″ at the rear, which are fitted with Pirelli Diablo Rosso Scooter tires, measuring 110/70-14 at the front and 130/70-13 at the rear.

Disc brakes on both axles with ABS completes de package, which prevents the wheel from locking in the event of sudden braking or on slippery floors.

The engine of the 2023 PCX125 is a liquid-cooled 125 cm³ SOHC single-cylinder with ‘enhanced Smart Power Plus (eSP+) technology, which is capable of generating up to 9.2 kW (13 hp) of maximum power at 8,750 rpm, and 11.8 Nm (1 .19 kgfm) of torque at 6,500 rpm.

To handle this power and bring more safety, the scooter gained the traction control ‘Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)’, which controls the rotation of the wheels through speed sensors, ensuring much more safety to the rider.

The 2023 Honda PCX125 has an inverted LCD digital panel, which brings a ‘widescreen’ appearance (the LCD screen is centered, with the other information on the sides, giving the impression of a single widescreen).

In addition, it received a new USB Type-C socket in the glove compartment, replacing the previous generation ACC charger, allowing you to charge your phone much more conveniently.
