Yamaha launched in Europe the 2022 MT-07, its 690cc ‘naked’ motorcycle, which arrives with new colors and graphics, but maintains the design and mechanics of the previous model.
For 2022, the MT-07 will be available in the new Cyan Storm color, with wheels finished in Cyan, while the Gray and Black bodywork features details in Cyan and Red (Vermillion), on the fuel tank fairings.

How is 2022 MT-07
The 2022 Yamaha MT-07 got a big update in 2021, when it arrived with a new design, mainly frontal, with a new optical set, adopting the LED cannon (projector) for high and low beam.
In addition, it also incorporated two vertical LED lines on the sides of the headlight for daytime running lights (DRL). This feature was also used in the new MT-09.
As mentioned, all lighting is now LED, that is, headlight, flashlights and turn signals rely on this technology. Still regarding the design, it received a new tank with new lines and new air intakes. The instrument panel is now fully digital inverted LCD.
The MT-07 gained, in the last update, larger brake discs at the front, measuring 298 mm in diameter. Each has four pistons, offering more progressive braking characteristics.
In addition, it was equipped with new high performance tires, Michellin Road 5, which offer sporty and safe handling, especially on poor and slippery tracks, in addition to allowing less wear and tear.
The 2022 Yamaha MT-07 remains with the same EU5 engine as the previous model, that is, CP2, two-cylinder, 689 cm³ with liquid cooling, capable of generating up to 54 kW (73.4 HP) of maximum power at 8,750 rpm, and 67 Nm (6.8 kgfm) of torque at 6,500 rpm. In Europe, there is also a version for A2 license, with a maximum power of 35 kW (47 HP).
