2022 Kymco AK 550 with more technology is presented at 2021 EICMA
Kymco presented at the 2021 EICMA (Milan Motorbike Show), the 2022 AK 550, its 550cc MaxiScooter, which arrives with new technologies, in addition to aesthetic updates.
According to the brand, the AK 550 is part of the new scooter segment “Super Touring”, which brings the comfort and convenience of a scooter, embodied with the attitude and performance of a sportbike.
For 2022, the model received Cornering ABS, Traction Control, electronic throttle, cruise control and electric windshield.

How is Kymco AK 550
The 2022 Kymco AK 550 is a premium MaxiScooter and has features worthy of premium motorcycles such as Brembo front brakes with ABS, USD front forks, 100% LCD instrument panel, height-adjustable electric windshield and two riding modes.
In addition, it has a tire pressure monitoring system, 15″ aluminum alloy wheels, Full-LED lighting with DRL (daytime running light) and heating of the handles, among others.
With ‘GT’ style, it has a lot of fairing and ample windshield, generating a lot of comfort and protection from the wind and rain. The seat is wide and has lumbar support for the rider (with position adjustment).
Other highlights of the model: parking brake, keyless start, glove box with USB charger, ample luggage compartment under the seat with lighting, belt final transmission and aluminum chassis.
The Kymco AK 550 is equipped with a liquid-cooled 550 cm³ twin cylinder engine, capable of generating up to 51 HP of maximum power and 52 Nm (5.2 kgfm) of torque. The transmission is automatic CVT (with belt final transmission), the fuel tank capacity is 15 liters and the dry weight is 226 kg.
