2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V comes with more power and less weight
TVS updated in India the 2021 Apache RTR 160 4V, its 160cc street bike, which now comes with more power and less weight.

Moreover, it lost weight, reaching up to 147 kg of Kerb Weight, almost 2 kg less than the previous model.
The Apache RTR 160 4V is equipped with single channel ‘Super-Moto’ ABS Unit, which, according to the brand, has been developed and tested on the track. According to them, the system provides the ultimate braking control while allowing sharp feedback, the precise system to keep your braking and cornering, razor-sharp.
In addition, it has LED headlights, fully digital LCD panel, aerodynamic claw mirrors, aggressive fuel tank design, sporty engine cowl and new racing seat.
Engine with more power
The 2021 Apache RTR 160 4V also received adjustments to the “race-optimized” fuel injection system, which, according to the brand, allows better power delivery and fuel economy, improves engine life and improves pollutant emission control (BS6 compliance).
In addition, GTT (Glide Through Technology) was added, which allows you to ride your motorcycle, gently releasing the clutch, without having to touch the accelerator, at a low speed (usually used in the city, in traffic jams). It is possible to reach 7 km/h in the first gear, 12 km/h in the second and 17 km/h in the third.
The engine is a 159.7 cm³ single cylinder with air and oil cooling, capable of generating up to 12.97 kW / 17.63 HP of maximum power and 14.73Nm / 1.48 kgfm of torque.
The Disc Brake variant of the Apache RTR 160 4V is sold in India for INR 1,10,320 (Ex-showroom, Delhi), while the Drum Brake is offered at INR 1,07,270 (also Ex-showroom, Delhi). The available color option is Knight Black, Metallic Blue and Racing Red.
