2021 KTM 890 Adventure is launched: more powerful engine and new suspension
KTM launched in Europe the new 2021 890 Adventure, a model that arrives with a new, more powerful engine, a new rear suspension and new graphics.
The 2021 KTM 890 Adventure brings the new 889 cm³ engine that increases power to 105 HP and 10.0 kgfm / 100Nm of torque. The 20% extra rotating mass of the crankshaft brings an improved feel at low revs, while increasing the centralized feel and traction in curves.
In addition, the 2021 KTM 890 Adventure comes with a refined and stronger clutch to handle the improved performance.
The new WP APEX rear suspension offers greater potential for customization through a new recovery damper adjuster and an additional manual adjuster for spring preload.
Extreme adventure motorcycle
The new 2021 KTM 890 Adventure is a motorcycle with adventurous capabilities taken to the extreme. The model has up to 200mm of suspension travel, ergonomics inspired by the Dakar Rally bikes, that is, it is narrow, light and manageable, with an accessible seat height, a low fender, a 20 liter fuel tank and KTM MY RIDE navigation.
It also has tires with adventure specifications, a colored TFT panel, Cornering ABS, Traction Control and Engine Brake adjustment, a seat that is adjustable in two heights and a light but strong auxiliary chassis for the passenger or luggage .
A range of KTM PowerPart options means that Cruise Control (with the handlebar switch now supplied as standard), a Quickshifter + (with optimized configurations), seat and grip heaters, together with an extensive luggage complement, expands the KTM’s 890 Adventure travel potential.
