Yamaha launches 2022 Gear 125 with new colors in Indonesia

Yamaha has launched in Indonesia the 2022 model of the Gear 125, its 125cc scooter, which arrives with new colors and graphics, but without mechanical changes.

According to the company, the 2022 Gear 125 gets a new pop of color with a graphic blend that adds an active, modern vibe.

Now, the standard model has five new color options: Metallic Cyan, Metallic White (with a combination of white with graphics in dark blue and yellow), Metallic Red (with a combination of red with blue graphics), Matte Olive (with olive green tones) and Metallic Black (a combination of black with yellow graphics).

Yamaha also adds a modern touch to the Yamaha Gear S Version, with graphic accents combined with embossed gold-patterned writing across two color options: Prestige Silver and Matte Red.

“The 2022 year is the first year that the Yamaha Gear 125 gets a new splash of color. Inspired by the development of current trends, Yamaha introduces a new unique color combination with more modern graphics. Multi-Purpose is even cooler and more elegant as a driving partner. Additionally, this step is expected to increase the excitement and enthusiasm of consumers who will be a part of the Yamaha Gear 125,” said Antonius Widiantoro, Public Relations Manager, YRA and Community of PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM).

Engine, Chassis, Price

The 2022 Gear 125 continues with the 125cc, 4-stroke SOHC single-cylinder engine, capable of generating up to 7.0 kW (9.39 HP) of maximum power at 8,000 rpm, and 9.5 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.

In addition, the transmission is automatic CVT, the fuel capacity is 4.2 liters, the dry weight is 95 kg, and the wheels are 14″, equipped with tires measuring 80/80-14 at the front and 100 /70-14 in the rear.

Anyway, the standard version of the 2022 Yamaha Gear 125 with the new colors can be purchased at a price of IDR 17,250,000 OTR Jakarta. The 2022 Gear S 125 version comes out for Rp. 18,000,000 OTR Jakarta.
