Honda launched its new 2024 line of 500cc motorcycles in the US, which arrive with important updates already present in European models.

The ‘naked’ 2024 CB500F, the sporty 2024 CBR500R, and the adventurous 2024 NX500 were launched, the latter which received a new name and was known as the CB500X.

Both the naked and the adventurous motorcycle feature a new design, mainly at the front, with an entirely new optical set that houses the LED headlight.

But it wasn’t just in design that the models changed. According to the company, improvements were made to the chassis, suspension, engine and electronics, which improves the package as a whole.

“Honda’s midsize lineup remains a core focus for the company, as these models suit a wide range of riders, in terms of skill levels and preferred riding experience,” said Colin Miller, Assistant Manager of Public Relations at American Honda.

“The advancements made with the NX500, CBR500R and CB500F are aimed at enhancing the experience for all riders, from casual commuters to lifelong enthusiasts. We’re confident that each of these bikes will remain at the forefront of its respective category and continue to deliver memorable rides for years to come”, added the executive.

Unfortunately for those who wanted more color options, Honda only brought one for the CB500F and NX500: Matte Black Metallic. The sporty CBR500R has two options: Grand Prix Red and Matte Black Metallic.

MSRP prices for 2024 have been released: $7,399 for the NX500, $6,899 for the CB500F, and $7,399 for the CBR500R.
