Ducati launches limited edition XDiavel Nera in partnership with Poltrona Frau
Ducati has launched in Italy the XDiavel Nera, a limited and exclusive edition of the brand’s Sport Cruiser, made in partnership with Poltrona Frau, an Italian manufacturer of luxury armchairs and furniture.
The XDiavel Nera features a special seat made from Pelle Frau®, a soft natural leather saddled by hand from the Italian furniture maker. As part of the customization, it can be equipped in five different colors (Siam Red, Steel Blue, Cemento, India and Selva). In addition, it has a series of “X” engraved through a laser process, in reference to the name of the bike.
Another highlight of the model is its ‘Black on Black’ painting, with parts in metallic black and others in matte black. In addition, some details are painted red, the color of Ducati, such as the brake calipers and the engine head covers. Forged and machined wheels are painted metallic black.
Finally, the customer can purchase a dedicated jet helmet along with the XDiavel Nera, in the same colors as the motorcycle.
According to the company, only 500 units of the model will be produced. Each one will receive a plate with its unique number, in addition to an exclusive key ring and document holder in Pelle Frau® leather in the color corresponding to the one chosen for the seat.

Engine and technology
The Ducati XDiavel Nera has the Testastretta DVT 1262 engine, that is, 2-cylinder in ‘V’ configuration and 1262 cm³ with liquid cooling, capable of generating up to 160 HP of maximum power at 9,500 rpm and 127 Nm (13.0 kgfm) of torque at 5,000 rpm.
It works together with a 6-speed gearbox and belt final drive, which ensures smooth delivery at low revs and a full turn up to the highest revs.
In addition, the XDiavel Nera is equipped with a 240mm wide rear tire, Cornering ABS brake system, M50 Brembo monoblock brake calipers, two 320mm discs at the front and a single 265mm disc at the rear.
Finally, the model features Full-LED lighting with DRL daytime running light system, two-level color TFT digital panel, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Riding Modes, Cruise Control and Ducati Power Launch (DPL).
Anyway, Ducati informs that the XDiavel Nera can now be ordered with the seat in your preferred colour, and will be available at Ducati dealerships from March 2022. The price for the UK is £25,895.
