Ducati Closes 2023 with Record-Breaking Profits and Thrilling New Models

In the fast-paced world of motorcycles, Ducati continues to dominate the scene, closing out 2023 with a bang. The Italian powerhouse recently confirmed its rock-solid financial standing, boasting profits that soared above one billion euros.

With an operating result hitting an all-time high of 112 million euros and a staggering 10.5% profitability rate, Ducati is proving itself to be not just a leader but a legend in the industry.

Despite facing fierce competition globally and some challenges in the Chinese market, Ducati’s revenue remained robust, exceeding the billion-euro mark for the second consecutive year. Even though it fell slightly short of the record set in 2022, reaching 1,065 million euros, it’s still an impressive feat.

The passion for Ducati’s sleek machines remains unwavering, with 58,224 motorcycles delivered to enthusiasts worldwide in 2023. While this figure dipped slightly from the previous year, it still secured Ducati’s spot among the top performers in terms of sales volume, marking it as the third-best year in the company’s history.

Claudio Domenicali, Ducati’s CEO, expressed his delight at the company’s achievements, highlighting the success not only in financial terms but also on the racetrack. With victories in MotoGP and WorldSBK for the second consecutive year, Ducati’s prowess extends beyond the balance sheet, cementing its status as a force to be reckoned with.

Looking ahead, Ducati isn’t resting on its laurels. The company unveiled seven new models for 2024, showcasing its commitment to innovation and excellence.

Among the highlights are the eagerly anticipated Hypermotard 698 Mono, marking Ducati’s foray into the single-cylinder supermoto segment, and the DesertX Rally, raising the bar for off-road capabilities with professional components.

But that’s not all. Ducati aficionados can look forward to the Multistrada V4 RS, blending touring and super sports features seamlessly, and the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour, designed for epic journeys across continents.

For those with a penchant for collector’s items, Ducati unveiled two limited-edition bikes commemorating the 30th anniversary of iconic models: the Panigale V4 SP2 30° Anniversario 916 and the Monster 30° Anniversario. These numbered series gems boast dedicated liveries and components, appealing to collectors and enthusiasts alike.

And for the die-hard Ducatisti, five collectible Panigale models pay homage to the brand’s championship successes in MotoGP, WorldSBK, and WorldSSP. These replicas, adorned with special liveries and the rider’s signature, are a tribute to Ducati’s racing heritage and a must-have for true fans.
