Haojue launches DR250 in China: 2 cylinders, liquid cooling and 25 HP
Haojue launched in China the DR250, its 250cc ‘naked streetfighter’ motorcycle based on the DR300. It has a 2-cylinder engine, liquid cooling and up to 25 HP.
For those who don’t know yet, Haojue is a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer that assembles Suzuki motorcycles there.
The Haojue DR250 is a bike with a very modern and aggressive design, with well defined lines, like an authentic ‘streetfighter’.
With a futuristic design, it has, according to the brand, a ‘science fiction atmosphere’. Contributing to this are the large aerodynamic fuel tank and the short, sharp rear end.
It features KYB inverted front suspension, Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3 tires (110/70-17 at the front and 140/60-17 at the rear) and brake disc on both axles with two-channel ABS from Bosch.
In addition, it has a fully digital panel in negative LCD and Full-LED lighting (headlights, flashlights and turn signals).
The exhaust muffler is made of two types of stainless steel with a two-color anti-burn plate. The 17″ wheels are made of cast aluminum, which has greater strength.
The engine, as mentioned, is a 2-cylinder liquid-cooled 248 cm³, capable of generating up to 25 HP (18.4 kW) of maximum power at 8,000 rpm, and 23.4 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
Furthermore, it is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox and the fuel tank capacity is 16 liters.
Finally, the Haojue DR250 is sold in China for 29,680 Remimbi (approximately US$ 4,633). So, would you like this bike in your country?
