2023 KTM 890 Adventure gets updates to be even more extreme, but comfortable
KTM launched in Europe the new 2023 890 Adventure, its 890cc adventure bike, which arrives with upgraded ergonomics and bodywork for more protective and comfortable riding.
The new 2023 KTM 890 Adventure is a motorcycle with adventurous capabilities taken to the extreme. The model has up to 200mm of suspension travel, ergonomics inspired by the Dakar Rally bikes, an accessible seat height, a low fender, a 20 liter fuel tank and KTM MY RIDE navigation.
In addition, the model received revised WP suspension settings and adjusters for more response and travel ‘glide’ experience, more off-road orientated tires (PIRELLI SCORPION STRs) and two fresh color options with new racier graphics set.
The 2023 KTM 890 Adventure brings the 889 cm³ twin-cilynder engine which is capable of generating up to 77 kW (105 HP) and 100 Nm (10.2 kgfm) of torque at 6,500 rpm. It works in conjunction with a 6-speed gearbox equipped with an assist and slipper clutch.
One of the most significant changes for 2023 has been made to the front mask between the head of the bike and the fuel tank. It is now integrated with a fairing section reinforced to offer more security and more load-bearing capability for larger GPS devices. Further along, the KTM 890 ADVENTURE has wider panels on the tank and side panels to give the seat protection against unwanted bumps or scrapes.
It also has a colored TFT panel, Cornering ABS, Traction Control and Engine Brake adjustment, a seat that is adjustable in two heights and a light but strong auxiliary chassis for the passenger or luggage.
Finally, a range of KTM PowerParts options means that Cruise Control (with the handlebar switch now supplied as standard), a Quickshifter+ (with optimized configurations), seat and grip heaters, together with an extensive luggage complement, expands the KTM’s 890 Adventure travel potential.
Anyway, the 2023 KTM 890 Adventure will be in stores in Europe from December onwards in Black and Orange.
