2023 Ducati Streetfighter V2 gets a new green color scheme
Ducati has launched a new color option in Europe for the 2023 Streetfighter V2, its 955cc sports naked motorcycle. The model can now be ordered in the new Storm Green color which will be available in dealerships from July 2022.
According to the company, the metallic green chosen by the Centro Stile Ducati enhances the clean, sharp and essential lines of the Streetfighter V2, reinforcing the unique character of the bike and its innate ability to attract attention. The matt finish is perfectly combined with the chromatic context of the mechanical parts, while the metallic grain creates a very evident play of contrasts on the different surfaces.
The Streetfighter V2 is practically a Panigale V2 without the fairings and with tall, wide handlebars. The bike’s name pays homage to the streetfighter culture, delivering characteristic elements such as wide and tall handlebars, aggressive, minimalist design and lots of power.
This excepcional bike is equipped with the 955 cm³ Superquadro engine with 153 HP which, according to the brand, has the right dose of power to guarantee a vigorous performance and maximum fun when riding.
The design of the Streetfighter V2 is practically the same as the Streetfighter V4, with aggressive lines and very sharp angles. It has Full-LED lighting, and the headlight unit is minimalist, which was inspired by the Joker, that’s right, the comic book character by DC Comics.
Engine and Chassis
The 2023 Streetfighter V2 engine is the liquid-cooled 955cc Superquadro, capable of generating up to 153 HP of maximum power at 10,750 rpm and 101 Nm (10.3 kgm) of torque at 9,000 rpm.
It is used as a support element that connects the front structure, consisting of a monocoque frame in cast aluminum, fixed to the engine head.
In addition, the one-sided swingarm, also connected to the engine, is 16 mm longer compared to that of the Panigale V2, which helps to ensure the stability of the entire bike.
The front suspension features a 43mm USD Showa BPF fork and Sachs steering damper, with dedicated calibration to make the bike more comfortable on the road, as well as easily adjustable for track fun.
Finally, the Streetfighter V2 is equipped with 5-spoke wheels and the Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres, and has a 320 mm double disc brake at the front with Brembo M4-32 monobloc radial calipers.
Technology
The Streetfighter V2 features a state-of-the-art 4.3″ full-digital color TFT instrument panel and Full-LED lighting with DRL (Daytime Running Light).
In addition, all the electronics comes from the Panigale V2, that is, Cornering ABS EVO, Ducati Traction Control EVO 2, Ducati Wheelie Control EVO, 3 Riding Modes (Sport, Road, Wet), Ducati Quick Shift up/down EVO 2, and Engine Brake Control EVO.
