2022 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX gets updates and new colors in Europe
Kawasaki launched in Europe the 2022 model of the Sport Touring Ninja 1000SX, which arrives with updates and new colors. It is a bike that combines the characteristics of sports with the ability to offer comfort on the road.
The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX arrives with a new 4-in-1 exhaust system, revised fairings with more angles, radial-mount monobloc front brake calipers and 4-position adjustable windshield available.
For 2022, there are three color options: Metallic Diablo Black/Pearl Robotic White, Emerald Blazed Green/ Metallic Diablo Black/Metallic Graphite Gray and Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Steel Gray/ Metallic Diablo Black.
Main features of Ninja 1000SX 2022
Clean mounting case holder: The accessory case mounting system allows them to be easily attached and removed, contributing to greater convenience. Integrating seamlessly with the rear of the bike, the clean mounting system positions the cases close to the centerline of the bike, its clean and clutter-free design ensuring that the rear of the bike still looks good with the accessories removed.
Bridgestone’s latest sports tires: Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tires contribute to lighter handling while offering greater grip on both dry and wet roads, which translates into greater confidence and rider enjoyment.
KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter): Complementing the exhilarating character of the Ninja 1000SX’s engine, the rapid gearshift allows clutchless ups and downs for continuous acceleration and fast, easy deceleration.
Excellent wind protection: The wind protection provided by the fully covered bodywork is complemented by a new windshield with four available positions. As before, the windshield is manually adjustable (no tools needed).
Smartphone Connection: A Bluetooth chip built into the dashboard allows riders to wirelessly connect to their motorcycle. Using the smartphone app “RIDEOLOGY THE APP,” a number of instrument functions can be accessed, contributing to an enhanced motorcycling experience.
Stimulating inline four-cylinder engine: The powerful 1,043cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke 4-cylinder inline engine pulls heavily from all revs and doesn’t slow down before the limit. The engine delivers excellent response, a strong mid-range slam and an intoxicating ingestion howl – each spin of the throttle rewards the rider with a stimulating physical and auditory sensation. In addition to cleaner emissions for 2020, a switch to electronic throttle valves allows for the addition of electronic cruise control, while also contributing to smooth energy delivery.
Increased Seat Comfort: Thicker and wider passenger and pilot seats provide greater comfort, facilitating more hours in the saddle. The rear seat cushion is wider than its base, providing a greater surface area. In addition, a number of accessory seating options are available to meet the needs and preferences of the rider and passenger.
Electronic Cruise Control: Kawasaki’s cruise control system allows the desired speed to be maintained at the touch of a button. Once activated, the pilot does not need to constantly apply the throttle. This reduces stress on the right hand when traveling long distances, allowing for a smooth ride and contributing to a high level of driving comfort.
One-sided silencer: The all-new exhaust system has a 4-in-2-in-1 arrangement, contributing to the Ninja 1000SX’s enhanced sporty look. The muffler arrangement on one side saves approximately 2 kg of weight.
Composite and Sporty Handling: The Ninja 1000SX’s highly rigid aluminum frame offers a high degree of mass centering, offering a balance between agility and firm handling. The bike responds quickly to the rider’s commands, while offering an excellent ability to absorb bumps and ruts. Highly composed, the Ninja 1000SX’s excellent straight-line stability and its planting feel in the corners make it easy to spend long hours in the saddle.
Color TFT instrument panel: The new compact all-digital TFT color instrumentation gives the cockpit a high-tech, high-end look. The new gauge also offers additional features not available on the previous model.
More sporty, dynamic styling: Overhauls to the fairings and an all-new sided silencer give the Ninja 1000SX a sportier, more dynamic styling that reflects its sporty riding potential and contributes to a stronger image for the Ninja family. Full LED lighting adds a touch of high class.
