2022 Honda PCX 160 gets ‘sporty’ edition in Thailand

Honda launched in Thailand the 2022 PCX 160 Sportive Ride, a sporty edition of its 160cc scooter, which arrives with exclusive colors and graphics.

The model brings graphics and details in red, plus clear windshield instead of dark gray in the standard version. In addition, it brings aluminum footrest, giving the bike a more sporty and premium design.

Despite the new colors, the entire mechanical set remains unchanged, with a 160cc eSP + engine and ABS brakes.

The model received in 2021 a new, sharper design with more defined angles. The LED frontal optical set also changed, adopting more rectilinear shapes, forming practically a solid piece.

In addition, it also received more storage capacity under the seat, bringing the total volume up to 30.4L – perfect for a ‘full-face’ helmet and more.

The engine remais the 160cc ‘enhanced Smart Power Plus (eSP +)’ fitted with the ‘Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)’. It is a single cylinder, liquid-cooled 156.93 cm³, capable of generating up to 15.8 HP of maximum power and 1.5 kgfm / 15Nm of torque.

Anyway, the PCX 160 Sportive Ride edition is sold in Thailand for 95.400 THB (approximately US $ 2.872). There is no information if this version will reach other countries.
