2021 Yamaha MT-15 is launched in Thailand with new colors and graphics
Yamaha launched the 2021 MT-15 in Thailand, which arrives with new colors and graphics. The little “naked” comes out with the new color schemes available on larger models, such as the MT-03, MT-07 and MT-09.
The 2021 Yamaha MT-15 is now available in Metallic Gray (with red wheels), Racing Blue (with blue wheels) and Matt Black. In all versions, the inverted front suspension comes out in golden color.
How is the Yamaha MT-15
The Yamaha MT-15 is a 155cc motorcycle with a design inspired by the 2020 MT-09. It is very aggressive with sharper angles and muscular lines, which makes it look like a bigger bike. The inverted front suspension in golden color and the short tail also contribute to this.
Technology is not lacking on the bike. It has a fully digital inverted LCD panel (the background is dark and the characters are clear), ABS as standard (depends on the market), assist and slip clutch, Delta Box frame, alloy wheels and LED headlight and taillight.
In addition, the rear swingarm is made of aluminum (Diecast), usually present in larger capacity and premium models.
The 2021 MT-15 has an engine with VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) technology, which delivers more power at high speed with good torque and fuel economy.
It is a 155 cm³ single cylinder (4 valves) liquid cooled with VVA technology, capable of generating up to 19 HP of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 15Nm / 1.5 kgfm of torque at 8,500 rpm. The gearbox is 6-speed with assist and slip clutch and the capacity of the fuel tank is 10 liters.
The alloy wheels are 17 inches with tires measuring 110/70-17 at the front and 140/70-17 at the rear, tubeless. The weight in running order (already with fluids and fuel) is 133 kg and the seat height is 810 mm.
Anyway, the 2021 Yamaha MT-15 is sold in Thailand for 98.500 Baht (approximately US$ 3,130). There is no information as to whether the model will be offered in other markets.
