2021 Triumph Street Scrambler, plus Sandstorm Limited Edition, are revealed
Triumph unveiled the 2021 model of the Street Scrambler in Europe, along with a Sandstorm Limited Edition, with only 775 units available.
The 2021 Triumph Street Scrambler has received engine upgrades to comply with the new Euro5 anti-pollution standard.
The limited edition Triumph Street Scrambler Sandstorm arrives with an exclusive paint scheme, premium Scrambler accessories installed as standard, individually numbered limited edition with only 775 available worldwide and certificate of authenticity.
How is the Triumph Street Scrambler 2021
The new 2021 Triumph Street Scrambler delivers the unmistakable scrambler style and silhouette, born from the original Triumph Scramblers which started the entire desert racing scene in the 1960s. Maintaining that authentic character and timeless DNA, the Street Scrambler features distinctive wide-spaced forks, high level twin exhaust, minimal bodywork, wide handlebars and wire spoked wheels with black hubs and rims.
The heart of the bike is the Bonneville 2-cylinder 900 cm³ parallel engine with liquid cooling, capable of generating up to 65 HP / 47.8 kW of maximum power at 7,250 rpm and 80Nm / 8.0 kgfm of torque at 3,250 rpm. According to the brand, it emits less pollutants and is much more economical (4.3 liters / 100 km – 23.3 km / L).
The front and rear suspensions have 140 mm of travel, and the front has dust guard (traditional rubber gaiters).
The wheels are the spoked type, with 19″ at the front and 17″ at the rear, fitted with Metzeler Tourance tires with dimensions 100 / 90-19 at the front and 150 / 70-17 at the rear.
In addition, it is equipped with a 310 mm single brake disc at the front, with 4-piston Brembo calipers, and a 255 mm single disc at the rear, with 2-piston Nissin calipers, both with ABS.
In terms of technology, it has a panel with analog display and LCD screen, three riding modes, ABS brakes and traction control that can be switched off, torque-assist clutch, USB socket, among others.
Triumph Street Scrambler Sandstorm Limited Edition
The limited edition Triumph Street Scrambler Sandstorm is based on the Street Scrambler above, but adds its own unique paint scheme and a selection of premium accessories installed as standard.
The exclusive Sandstorm paint scheme incorporates Matt Storm Grey and Ironstone accents on the tank in a unique new tri-tone style, plus a Matt Storm Grey factory-fitted high-level front mudguard.
In addition to the contemporary urban scrambler style, the limited edition Sandstorm features several premium Triumph accessories installed as standard, incorporating a compact LED taillight and number plate light (market restrictions may apply), plus a heavy-duty aluminum sump guard, a stylish headlight grille with subtle Triumph branding and protective rubber knee pads on the tank.
All of these are factory-fitted accessories that come as standard only in the limited edition Sandstorm.
Only 775 units of the limited edition Street Scrambler Sandstorm will be produced worldwide and, adding even more exclusivity, each will come with a unique and personalized certificate of authenticity stating the bike’s VIN number.
