2021 BMW G 310 R is launched in India: revised design, LED and new clutch

BMW launched in India the new 2021 G 310 R, its 313 cc roadster / naked motorcycle. It arrives with revised design, new electronic throttle controller, new clutch and Full-LED lighting.

The 2021 BMW G 310 R brings minor changes to the design, especially in the front optical. In addition, the model features LED lighting (headlights, flashlights and turn signals).

The model received a new version: ‘Style Sport’. It combines the special metallic color ‘Limestone’ with red painted wheels and frame to create a bold and sporty look.

For use on the new BMW G 310 R 2021, the engine has been equipped with the so-called “electronic throttle grip” (electromotive throttle controller) and now offers an even more sensitive throttle response.

The automatic increase of the idling speed at the start also prevents a possible sudden stalling of the engine.

In addition, both the clutch lever and the front brake now have 4 adjustment levels.

Same engine, new clutch

The self-boosting anti-hopping clutch is also new. It reduces the engine’s drag torque and provides a significant increase in steering safety – particularly during braking maneuvers involving simultaneous downshifting. It also offers significantly reduced operating forces at the clutch lever.

The engine remains the same 313 cm³ single cylinder, capable of generating up to 34 HP of maximum power and 2.9 kgfm / 29Nm of torque.
