BMW Motorrad launches 2023 G 310 GS with new colors and graphics
BMW Motorrad launched the 2023 G 310 GS, its 313 cc crossover / adventure motorcycle, which arrives with new colors and graphics, but maintains the same mechanical set as the previous model.
Thus, the 2023 G 310 GS comes with New Version Basic Cosmic black 3, New Style Sport Polar white/Racing blue metallic and New Style Rallye Kalamata metallic matt. Polar white, Style Triple Black and Cyanite blue metallic are no longer available.
The Style Sport Polar white/Racing blue metallic version comes with red steel trellis frame, white tank sides and blue front ‘beak’ and tank top.
Finally, the Style Rallye Kalamata metallic matt version also has red steel trellis frame, but black tank sides and a shade of brown on front ‘beak’ and tank top.
Otherwise, the 2023 G 310 GS continues with the same design that was updated in 2021, which features LED lighting (headlights, flashlights and turn signals) and a beautiful Upside Down front fork.
Engine, gearbox and technology
The 2023 BMW G 310 GS, has an engine that has been equipped with the “electronic throttle grip” (electromotive throttle controller) and now offers an even more sensitive throttle response.
In addition, the automatic increase of the idling speed at the start also prevents a possible sudden stalling of the engine, and both the clutch lever and the front brake have 4 adjustment levels.
Finally, the self-boosting anti-hopping clutch reduces the engine’s drag torque and provides a significant increase in steering safety – particularly during braking maneuvers involving simultaneous downshifting. It also offers significantly reduced operating forces at the clutch lever.
The 2023 BMW G 310 GS is equipped with a 313 cm³ liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, capable of generating up to 25 kW (34 HP) of maximum power and 2.9 kgfm / 29 Nm of torque.
In addition, the gearbox is 6-speed equipped with an assist and slipper clutch, the fuel tank capacity is 11.5 liters and the kurb weight is 175 kg.
The new model is equipped as standard with rear shock preload adjustment, one-piece seat, BMW Motorrad ABS brakes, radial front brake caliper, side stand with start inhibitor, inverted front suspension, digital instrument panel, Full-LED lighting and alloy wheels (19″ at the front).
