BMW Motorrad achieves historic sales milestone in 2024

BMW Motorrad has announced that it has achieved a historic milestone in motorcycle sales in 2024, with 210,408 motorcycles and scooters sold worldwide.

According to the company, Germany remains the largest market, with 26,177 units sold in 2024. Europe as a whole sold 118,727 units, or more than half of the total.

Other important European countries that stood out were France (with 20,693 units), Italy (16,617 units) and Spain (13,009 units).

Next comes the United States, Brazil, China and India, all of which contributed significantly to the strong global result.

With the highest sales result in the company’s history, BMW Motorrad is remarkably claiming first place in the global premium motorcycle segment. Our market leadership in numerous segments and markets is based on our claim to innovation leadership, our highly attractive product offering and the consistent strategic focus on brand strength. Based on these success factors, BMW Motorrad is well positioned for the future, and I therefore look to 2025 with a very positive outlook.”
