This updated long-distance sports bike has received a power boost, ergonomic improvements, and some stylish design refinements that’ll have riders and onlookers alike drooling in awe.

Let’s start with the heart of the beast – the engine. The reworked in-line 4-cylinder engine now churns out a whopping 125 kW (that’s 170 hp, folks!).

What’s the secret behind this power surge? Well, it’s all thanks to some clever engineering – think flow-optimized intake channels and a customized mapping. The result? A smooth and torque-packed ride that’ll make every journey a thrilling adventure.

But it’s not just about power; it’s about comfort too. BMW has taken care of that with an all-new seat design. Offering 10 mm more height (850 mm) and improved space for your posterior, this seat lets you ride with freedom and adjust your position as needed. Three different seat heights are at your disposal, so you can tailor your ride to perfection.

Now, let’s talk style. The new S 1000 XR boasts a sportier rear section with snazzy side panels and air intakes inspired by motorsports. The radiator trim has been given a textured touch, and the “beak” fender now flaunts body-colored paint – all of this adding up to a bike that’s as stunning as it is fast.

In terms of features, BMW didn’t hold back. Headlight Pro lights up your night rides with an adaptive turning light, ensuring better visibility in corners.

You’ve also got Daytime Running Lights (DRL) for added safety during daylight hours. Keyless Ride and a 12 Ah battery come as standard, and there’s even a USB charging option onboard.

For our American riders, the E-Call feature is now available, and you can equip your S 1000 XR with the optional M GPS Laptrigger and the stunning M Carbon wheels.
