CINECO launches ES5 electric scooter with up to 230 km of autonomy and lots of technology

CINECO launched in China the ES5, a modern electric scooter, which brings superior specifications, a lot of on-board technology and up to 230 km of autonomy with just one battery charge.

For those who don’t know this new brand, CINECO belongs to the company Senmlan Motor which, in turn, is part of the Zongshen group, and is focused only on electric two-wheel vehicles.

Recently, the brand launched the ERT3 large electric scooter, along with the ES5, models that follow a European design pattern, with specifications worthy of premium models.

In this article, we’re going to talk about the ES5, focused on daily urban commuting with comfort and technology. It arrives with a modern design, completely flat floor, and a vibrant color scheme.

Available in three versions, the CINECO ES5 in the top-of-the-line configuration is equipped with 3 (three) 60V and 31Ah batteries, which allow a range of up to 230 km (at 20 km/h average speed) or 160 km (at 50 km/h).

In addition, the mid-engine has a rated power of 5 kW and a peak power of 8.4 kW, which allows a top speed of up to 102 km/h and an acceleration from 0 to 50 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The final transmission is made by belt, that is, it is silent and does not require lubrication.

The ES5 is equipped with aluminum alloy swingarm and wheels (14″ at the front, 13″ at the rear), disc brakes on both axles with ABS, tires measuring 110/80-14 at the front and 130/60- 13 in the rear, traction control, hill assist and tipping protection.

Finally, it has Full-LED lighting, color TFT digital panel, cruise control, riding modes, keyless start and 1080P front camera (optional).

Anyway, the top-of-the-line CINECO ES5 is sold in China for from RMB 27,800 (approximately US$ 4,128). Its ‘basic’ configuration (with two batteries and up to 150 km), starts at RMB 19,980 (US$ 2,966).
