Yamaha launches in Europe the 2022 Ténéré 700 World Raid with two fuel tanks
Yamaha has launched the 2022 Ténéré 700 World Raid in Europe, its most extreme on/off-road 689cc motorcycle, which arrives with two fuel tanks to go on adventures even further.
The model’s differential, as mentioned, is its huge fuel tank. In fact, there are two, mounted side by side, with a total capacity of 23 liters.
According to the company, under normal use conditions, this new tank can provide a range of up to 500 km. Furthermore, it says with this unique design of two tanks installed side by side in a lower position, along with the fuel pump also lower, the bike’s center of gravity can be maintained almost like the standard Ténéré 700, which has a 16 liter fuel tank.
Another benefit of this dual tank design is that the movement of the fuel is limited, compared to a one big tank layout and this gives benefit especially while cornering.
Other new features
The Ténéré 700 World Raid brings other new features to make it even more extreme and prepared for all situations. The flat seat, for example, is new at 890 mm high, and is made with two different types of leather, with more grip in the center and a little softer in the other areas.
Also new to the model is the new 5″ color TFT fully digital panel, with connection to the Communication Control unit (CCU) which talks to the MyRide app, giving connectivity in the form of text message and incoming call notifications.
Finally, the bike brings: Three-mode on/off road ABS, high specification 43 mm KYB front forks, Öhlins steering damper, full spec aluminium piggyback rear shock, higher windscreen, LED flashers, front cowling, larger footrests, new three-piece aluminium engine guard, and new radiator grille.
