2021 MV Agusta Rush is revealed: even more sporty and exclusive

MV Agusta launched the 2021 Rush, its most extreme 1000cc ‘naked’ motorcycle. It arrives even more sporty, safe and exclusive, (only 300 units will be produced).

Design

Rush is inspired by the military origins of MV Agusta, with an extreme design, full of well-defined angles and totally muscular.

It also resembles ‘café racer’ models, especially for the position of the handlebars, rear view mirrors and headlight.

In addition, for 2021, MV Agusta Rush boasts a new leather seat and Alcântara on two levels, extremely aggressive.

Engine and Gearbox

Rush’s engine is practically a state of art, with radial valves and titanium pistons. The inline 4-cylinders 999 cm³ with liquid cooling engine, is capable of generating up to 208 HP (153 kW) of maximum power and 116.5 Nm (11.9 kgfm) of torque.

With this engine and the 6-speed gearbox, the new Rush is capable of reaching a top speed over 186 mph – 300 km/h. The fuel tank capacity is 16 liters.

Chassis

MV Agusta Rush has a steel tubular trellis chassis, and a rear swing arm made of aluminum alloy.

The 17-inch wheels are also made of aluminum alloy, and the rear has a carbon fiber cover. They are equipped with tires measuring 120/70-17 at the front and 200/55-17 at the rear.

In terms of braking, it has a 320 mm double disc at the front (floating, with 4-piston Brembo Stylema radial calipers) and a 220 mm single disc at the rear (2-piston Brembo caliper).

The suspensions are from Öhlins, fully adjustable, with the front being the 43 mm inverted type with electronically controlled compression and recovery damping with manually controlled spring preload.

Technology

MV Agusta has several carbon fiber items, including the side fairings, the air box, the fuel tank cover, the air intakes and the radiator covers.

In addition, the model is equipped with Cruise Control, Launch Control, Wheelie Control and Cornering ABS.

The instrument panel is completely digital in 5.5-inch color TFT, which has the Bluetooth GPS function – MV Ride application for navigation mirroring.

Availability and price

The MV Agusta Rush can be reserved online with € 100 reservation fee, included in final price. The price start from € 38,800 (US$ 47,589) and the color available is Light Army Grey Matt Dark Army Grey Matt.
