2025 Yamaha MT-07 gets new design, more technology and automated Y-AMT option
Yamaha has launched the new 2025 MT-07 in Europe, its mid-displacement naked motorcycle, which comes with a renewed design, more on-board technology and even an automated Y-AMT option.
Regarding the new design of the MT-07, it follows the lines of its bigger ‘sister’ MT-09, with a practically identical front, with a single projector headlight and two almost horizontal DRL lines.
In the wake of the new design, Yamaha says that, even with the increase in specifications, which would add 4.5 kg more than the previous model, in the end, the new model is 1 kg lighter.
Another highlight of the new motorcycle is the increase in technology, with the adoption of the ride-by-wire throttle, and three riding modes, with the option of selecting 3 power maps and 2 levels of traction control.
In addition, the model now offers the latest generation of the bidirectional quickshifter, as an option on the standard version. The version with Y-AMT automated transmission has cruise control as standard.
The engine remains the same 690cc CP2 with liquid cooling, capable of generating up to 73.4 hp of maximum power, and 6.9 kgfm of torque.
Finally, the new Yamaha 2025 MT-07 arrives in European stores in the colors Ice Storm, Icon Blue and Tech Black.
For now, there is no forecast for this model to reach other countries.
