Honda has launched in Europe the new 2025 CB1000 Hornet, its 1000cc ‘naked’ motorcycle and top of the Hornet family, which arrives with breathtaking performance, as well as a striking design, to dominate the segment.

The Hornet name returned to Honda’s motorcycle family in 2023, with the launch of the CB750 Hornet, a naked twin-cylinder that is a success on the European continent. After that, the CB500 Hornet arrived, to be the entry-level motorcycle in this category.

Now it’s the turn of the most powerful in the line, a bike that arrives to reaffirm the name that, in the past, was synonymous with power, modernity and aggressiveness, especially with the CB600F Hornet, which used the CBR600R engine.

To achieve this, the 2025 CB1000 Hornet uses the engine from the 2017 CBR1000RR Fireblade superbike, with some adjustments, of course, to make it more docile for use in the city.

The 1000cc inline four-cylinder engine is capable of generating up to 111.6 kW (151.7 hp) of maximum power at 11,000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque. It works together with a 6-speed gearbox equipped with an assist and slipper clutch.

To tame this beast, a cutting-edge electronic set was incorporated, such as the Throttle By Wire (TBW), 3 riding modes, Power Control, Engine Brake Control and Traction Control (HSTC) with integrated wheelie control.

The design of this machine is unique, transmitting pure aggressiveness that is characterized by the double LED headlight and the fuel tank, which gives the impression of ‘wings folded forward’.

Taking advantage of the occasion, the company also presented the 2025 CB1000 Hornet SP, which arrives even more powerful, with more power and torque, fully adjustable Showa suspension at the front and Öhlins at the rear, Brembo Stylema front brake calipers, and Quickshifter as standard.

The 2025 Honda CB1000 Hornet will be available in three color options: Grand Prix Red, Mat Iridium Gray Metallic, and Pearl Glare White. The 2025 CB1000 Hornet SP comes in Mat Ballistic Black Metallic, with Desert Gold Metallic wheels and Gold front forks.
