BMW has launched in Europe the new 2025 F 900 XR, its 900cc sport touring motorcycle, that comes with mechanical improvements, and have more on-board technology.
The bike now weigh around 3 kg less, thanks to the new wheelset (1.8 kg lighter) and the new battery (0.8 kg lighter). The weight reduction can be further increased with the new Akrapovič silencer, sold as a genuine accessory.
Additionally, it received a new fully adjustable inverted front suspension, with adjustable damping rebound and compression damping and spring preload.
In terms of technology, it received Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), BMW Motorrad ABS Pro, and Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), all offered as standard.
The engine is a 895cc 2-cylinder liquid-cooled, capable of generating up to 105 HP of maximum power.
