Suzuki launched in Europe the 2022 model of the GSX-R125 and GSX-S125, its 125cc sporty and ‘naked’ bikes, respectively. They arrive in new colors, but keep the same mechanical set as the previous model.

For 2022, the GSX-R125 is available in MotoGP team Blue with white graphic, and Black with Gray with red wheels. The GSX-S125 comes in Blue, Black with Silver, and Black with Gray, as well as White with Black with red details and wheels.

Otherwise, there is no change. They continue with the high-performance 125cc Euro5 engine and light, compact chassis, which deliver an agile bike with enough power to bypass city traffic.

How are the GSX-R125 and GSX-S125

The Suzuki GSX-S125 is the brand’s 125cc ‘naked’ motorcycle, with a ‘streetfigther’ style and split-level seat, and with a sporty yet comfortable riding position. The GSX-R125, on the other hand, is the 125cc sportbike, full faired and fully sporty riding position.

Both feature a light and compact chassis, 10-spoke aluminum alloy wheels, two-channel ABS from Bosch, and a 290 mm diameter front brake disc.

The engine of both models is a liquid-cooled 124 cm³ DOHC single cylinder, capable of generating up to 11 kW (15 HP) of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 11.5 Nm (1.15 kgfm) of torque at 8,000 rpm.

Finally, they have a 6-speed gearbox, a fuel tank with 11 liters of capacity, a Suzuki Easy Start system, a fully digital LCD panel and LED headlights.

The GSX-S125 model sells in the UK for as low as £4,199.
